Step Inside: A Look at Framestead’s Newest Custom Home
Framestead’s passion is designing and building homes that feel like YOU! We build homes completely customizable to your family’s wants and needs. We build forever homes that you want to spend time in. In this blog, we will explore the primary living areas of one of our newest custom homes, highlighting the features that make this home unique and distinguish it from others.
Let’s dive into this tour! We’ll begin with the front exterior and design. The home’s exterior showcases an ideal combination of contemporary and farmhouse styles. The bold black siding creates a stunning visual impact, while the accents of dark-stained wood and whitewashed brick add lovely dimension and character to the exterior’s look.

The primary living areas of this home feature a wonderfully open concept, seamlessly blending the living room, dining area, and kitchen into one expansive space. This layout is ideal for families or anyone who enjoys entertaining guests. The vaulted ceiling enhances the spacious feel even further. A striking fireplace offers a sense of division between the living and dining areas, with its brick material echoing the exterior, maintaining a modern rustic theme throughout the house. You’ll also find this lovely brickwork in the kitchen, where it serves as an accent tile and backsplash. We appreciate how the design elements are consistently woven throughout the main living spaces.

The all-black kitchen adds a unique and contemporary flair, while the panel-ready fridge and stove introduce a luxurious touch to the area. Additionally, a spacious walk-in pantry provides ample storage, keeping most items neatly tucked away from the main kitchen. A large serving window opens up to the backyard, adding both functionality and charm to the kitchen.

The dining area, which is open to the rest of the living space, is elegantly simple. A beautiful chandelier, matching the one in the living room, hangs above the dining table, enhancing the elegance of the space. An expansive accordion door lines the back wall, allowing natural light to flood in. This door is perfect for pleasant weather days, as it can be fully opened to let fresh air circulate throughout the home, creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces, especially when hosting guests.

Every bathroom in the house is elegantly simple yet features its own distinctive flair. Adopting a striking black and white theme, these spaces maintain a sleek and modern appearance. The choice of accent tiles in the showers adds a personal touch to each bathroom, infusing them with character. The half-bath adjacent to the main living area is particularly charming, embodying the contemporary farmhouse aesthetic. The accent tile wall, paired with modern rustic hardware and fixtures, creates a visually stunning atmosphere.

This home boasts several unique and custom-designed spaces, including a guest loft, a concealed dog kennel, and a craft/laundry room. The loft area is perfectly crafted for hosting guests, providing an inviting retreat for young visitors, complete with its own bathroom. The hidden dog kennel cleverly fits under the staircase, making use of the space below while giving the dog its own cozy room. The craft room, tailored specifically for the client’s needs, also serves as a laundry area. Featuring a spacious island and built-in cabinetry, this room offers ample storage to keep items organized and out of sight.

In this blog, we will focus on the primary living spaces. Stay tuned for upcoming posts that will delve deeper into the kitchen and outdoor living areas—both remarkable spaces that you’ll definitely want to explore further!
